APAS will collaborate with VAAS the Vietnam Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy Society to hold the 2025 ASM in Ho Chi Minh City. It will be the 25th Annual scientific meeting for APAS and the 4th Annual meeting for VAAS. President of APAS Prof David Choon from KL Malaysia and President of VAAS Prof Tang Ha Nam Anh from HCMC Vietnam and the organising committee will work hard at ensuring this combined conference is another milestone event for both societies and our partners.
The proposed date for this conference is Wednesday July 30th to Saturday August 2nd inclusive of specialty workshops and industry side events.
Ho Chi Minh City also known as Saigon is the biggest city in Vietnam with a population now over 10 million. Connected to many major cities by direct flights it will be a perfect centre for academic influx in the APAC region. Our combined conference will showcase all evidenced based and advanced technologies for both arthroplasty and arthroscopy techniques to foster knowledge sharing and core science-based methods to optimise patient outcomes in a variety of communities.

The enthusiastic participation of these doctors has contributed to the conference’s success and is a great honor for our Society.”
We are pleased to announce that the annual international conference will take place from July 30 to August 2nd, 2025, Vincom Landmark 81, 720 A Dien Bien Phu, Ward 22, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with the theme: “ ADVANCED TECHNIQUES FOR BETTER OUTCOMES?”
The conference will feature presentations by experts in the field of arthroplasty, sports medicine, and the latest updates on techniques and new medical materials. It will also serve as a platform for collaboration, networking, and knowledge exchange with leading experts from countries with advanced medical systems, particularly with the participation of the Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society (APAS), the Asia Pacific Hip Society (APHS), the Ho Chi Minh City Arthroscopy Society (HAS), and the Ho Chi Minh City Arthroplasty Association (HAA).
